For 20 years, the Chamber has taken an annual Benchmarking Visit to investigate new programs and initiatives in a city similar to our community. It gives us a chance to study one of America’s other great cities and adapt its best practices to meet the growing needs of Tampa Bay. Past visits include Baltimore, San Diego, Memphis, Seattle, Boston, Denver, Charlotte, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Minneapolis/Saint Paul, Austin, and Toronto.

The Westin Dublin

The iconic building of The Westin Dublin is a distinguished statement on Westmoreland Street, in Dublin city centre. It is recognizable by its fa├žade & clock tower overlooking the famous Spire on one side and the pristine College Street entrance to the Banking Hall, overlooking Trinity College on the other side.

This historic landmark dates back to the 1800's and has had a number of past lives, from the home of the Royal Irish Institution, celebrating Irish Art & Culture in 1813 to robe suppliers for Trinity College students in 1847 and the flagship branch of the Provincial Bank of Ireland in the late 1800s. The jewel at The Westin Dublin is the Banking Hall, built in the 19th century and adorned with Waterford Crystal chandeliers.
