Hiring the best talent is no small feat, especially when unemployment rates continue to decline and emerging generations in the workplace want to gain experience and move on/up quickly. Our workplace landscapes are also quickly changing with advancements in technology.

There is a lot to consider and a lot at stake - after all one bad hire can be costly, breakdown teams and turn-away customers. According to Forbes, the U.S. Department of Labor puts the cost of a bad hire at 30% of the annual salary for that position. However, if you find the right hire, McKinsey & Co. states hiring a ‘top performer’ over an ‘average performer’ yields up to 67% more productivity and profit

During this workshop you will have the opportunity to:

  • Ensure your job descriptions, brand and social media platforms attract the right candidates;
  • Identify key trends in a resume and learn to probe during your interview;
  • Learn about screening tools and technology advancements that aid in the recruitment and selection process;
  • Create interview questions that reveal a candidate’s true character;
  • Conduct an interview that ensures you get to really know the candidate – and that they get to know you;
