Ambassador Committee

As a key role in the Chamber’s retention plan, the Ambassador Committee serves as member relations support and assists with efforts to retain members through consistent personal interaction and involvement. The Ambassadors welcome new members, continue to engage current members and recognize members celebrating milestone Chamber anniversaries. They attend ribbon cuttings and grand openings in the community in addition to Chamber functions. They are the motivated and outgoing volunteers who are always available to help with your Chamber membership.

If you are interested in joining the Ambassadors or would like more information, please contact contact Patie Powers at 813.276.9440.

The Ambassador of the Quarter is an award given to an Ambassador who best exemplifies a spirit of volunteerism and dedication to the Chamber’s Ambassador Committee. Jeremy Enns has volunteered as a Chamber Ambassador for over five years in addition to the being a member of the Chamber Small Business of the Year Committee. Jeremy consistently contributes to the Chamber’s Ambassador Committee’s success by assisting members through personal interaction and involvement. He enthusiastically works with new members to ensure they are connecting with the Chamber in the ways that best serve their business. His positive and supportive attitude is key to his success when welcoming new members, celebrating membership anniversaries, and supporting businesses celebrating at their Ribbon Cuttings.

Professionally, Jeremy has nearly 30 years of experience in the employee benefits marketplace. After graduating with a B.S. degree in marketing from USF, Jeremy joined Prudential Healthcare in Tampa. He served for three years as an account manager and then took a sales position with Aetna Health Plans where he worked the Florida West Coast territory for three years. For the next 16 years Jeremy worked as a Group Sales Executive for Guardian Life Insurance. During his corporate career, Jeremy has achieved many awards for superior sales and service. For the past six years, Jeremy has worked an employee benefits broker. Jeremy serves on several local boards. He, his wife Kim and their three children are long time Tampa residents. They family are active members of their church and in their free time enjoy the outdoors, beach activities, and college football.

The Ambassador program is a great way to get engaged with the business community. Ambassadors are a highly visible group of volunteers who give their time to provide a crucial link between the Chamber, its members, and the community. They are passionate about the Chamber and their involvement not only benefits the Chamber, but their participation also helps build their own brand recognition.
