About the Ambassadors Committee

As a key role in the Chamber’s retention plan, the Ambassador Committee serves as member relations support and assists with efforts to retain members through consistent personal interaction and involvement. The Ambassadors welcome new members, continue to engage current members and recognize members celebrating milestone Chamber anniversaries. They attend ribbon cuttings and grand openings in the community in addition to Chamber functions. They are the motivated and outgoing volunteers who are always available to help with your Chamber membership.

If you are interested in joining the Ambassadors or would like more information, please contact Tracy Wilson at 813-276-9464.

Ambassador Spotlight

Suzanne Chambers – Account Manager, Roebuck Technologies

Managing a company’s IT network is all about trust, as businesses depend on having constant, reliable access to their data, financials, and client network. Suzanne Chambers, Account Manager of Roebuck Technologies, has been named The Tampa Bay Chamber Ambassador of the Quarter. With more than 25 years in the IT services industry, Suzanne knows the importance of building client relationships, being accessible, and providing solutions to customer issues. She takes great pride in having built a strong network of clients and vendors in the Tampa Bay Area over the past two decades through her loyalty and dedication to excellence. Suzanne is also an enthusiastic ambassador for The Chamber, eager to welcome new members and ensure existing members are able to leverage the benefits of participation.

Suzanne has been a vital member of the Roebuck Technologies team for nearly two years, helping businesses throughout the greater Tampa Bay Area with proactive IT support. Roebuck Technologies provides full-service IT management as well as supports a company’s internal IT staff to increase productivity and expand areas of expertise. The company’s cutting-edge dashboard offers IT system visibility in real time, accessible through a browser or mobile app – a favorite with IT managers. Roebuck specializes in robust cybersecurity solutions to keep business data and systems secure from cyberattack, an ever-increasing threat today. Suzanne’s experience in the IT services industry allows her to work with clients to customize flexible solutions to their needs – and she stays connected with clients to proactively ensure their IT systems are working smoothly and driving business forward.

As a Chamber Ambassador, Suzanne celebrates businesses’ membership anniversaries and welcomes businesses new to the group, frequently sharing photos to maximize attendee’s exposure on social media. Suzanne is a firm believer in participating in the community and helping businesses and members share the positive work they do.

Ambassadors are a highly visible group of volunteers who give their time to provide a crucial link between the Chamber, its members and the community. They are passionate about the Chamber and their involvement not only benefits this organization, but their participation helps build their own brand recognition. If interested in learning more, email membership@tampachamber.com.

In short, the Ambassador program is a great way to get engaged with the business community and our Ambassador of the Quarter has done just that! Join us in congratulating Suzanne on a continued job well done as our Ambassador of the Quarter!
