The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the 2013 Small Business of the Year Awards, presented by Sam’s Club. All nominations must be submitted to the Chamber by Friday, March 8.
The Small Business of the Year Awards annually highlights the impact of small business on the Tampa community and recognizes the best of the best. Winners will be announced at the Chamber’s annual Small Business of the Year Awards ceremony, presented by Sam’s Club on September 20 at the Tampa Convention Center.
Nominations can be submitted for the 2013 Outstanding Business Leader of the Year, 2013 Small Business of the Year and a new category - the 2013 Startup Business of the Year. To be eligible for the company-wide awards, a business must be headquartered in Tampa Bay and have conducted business here for the last three years. Companies are evaluated on financial success, community involvement and ethical business practices. The company awards are presented in three categories based on number of employees:
5-20 Employees 21-50 Employees 51-250 Employees
