The Florida Chamber supports increasing education standards and believes talent is the new economic development currency. To remain competitive in a changing economy, Florida’s education system needs to prepare students for jobs of the future. Governor Scott’s commitment to compete with international standards in education while allowing Florida, not the federal government, to develop curriculum and the best testing methods is a big win for Florida’s kids and Florida’s future.
If you agree increasing the state’s educational standards is the right move for Florida, please attend tomorrow’s meeting or email your comments before October 31, 2013.
Help us achieve the goal of making Florida’s education system the best in the nation.
