The Tampa Police Department presented the 2014 Business Partnership Award to the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, President and CEO Bob Rohrlack and the Leadership Tampa and Leadership Tampa Alumni programs on May 1, 2014.
The GTCC has personalized this partnership with the Tampa Police Department by opening a second R.I.C.H. (Resources in Community Hope) House in the Robles Park Community.
The first effort created a safe haven for dozens of children in one of our city's most challenged neighborhoods. Leadership Tampa Class of 2013 went to work doing an "extreme make-over" on a historic, but long abandoned City of Tampa Recreation Center, bringing to fruition the second R.I.C.H.
