New apartments planned Brightline route The parent company of the new express rail line is offering 290 rental units at the West Palm Beach stop in the hopes to lure commuters to an area that might not be desirable for residents who work in Ft. Lauderdale or Miami. US House of Representatives set to hear bills on Autonomous vehiclesThe 14 bill package setting boundaries and regulations  for autonomous vehicles that was introduced in draft form last month will  be heard in the House as early as next week. House Appropriations subcommittee on transportation, housing and urban development passes DOT bill The spending plan will provide $17.8 billion in discretionary funding for the DOT in the fiscal year 2018. Which is less than the current level of spending for the agency.
