Cohort 2020
Envision Construction Services
- Financial mentorship assisted in obtaining a 30% increase in LOC for daily operations.
- Reduced direct cost of goods sold by 35%
- Improved the analysis and tracking of job expenses to be more disciplined with quoting and job tracking
- Enhanced team-specific internal reporting, allowing better tracking of production and efficiencies
OHC Environmental Engineering
- Secured 6 new term annual contracts in 2019 with several cities, counties and school boards
- Secured teaming partnership with several large companies as a subcontractor
- Obtained a new line of credit with Bank of Tampa
Pro-Fit Development
- After a 2-year engagement process, ProFit became approved as a Certified Roofing Applicator for CARLISLE SynTec Systems, one of the largest suppliers of PVC & TPO Roofing products in the country.
- Pro-Fit is one of the first African American owned Roofing Contractors in Hillsborough County to be certified with Carlisle to install certified roofing systems through their brand.
Cohort 2019
Chameleon Custom Solutions
- Hired high performing individuals to provide a more strategic and comprehensive approach to solving clients’ needs
- Implemented systems to monitor and evaluate performance essential to meeting customer expectations and keeping costs down
- Made substantial building investments, like state-of-the-art equipment and a fully renovated office suite
Matcon Construction Services
- Moved to their new office in Tampa Heights
- Added new strategic positions (e.g. 2 new project managers, sales manager, project accountant, and construction experienced controller)
- Awarded new projects in the healthcare and aviation industries
- Continued as a General Contractor as well as a subcontractor in the Concrete Division
McKenzie Contracting, LLC
- Obtained an increased line of credit
- Secured a bond for $2 million
- Invited to partner with a new corporate contract to collaborate on a $250 million project
MidFlorida Armored & ATM Services
- Opened new locations in West Palm Beach and Tallahassee, expanding service to the entire state of Florida
- Added 10 new jobs
