One of the key initiatives of the Chamber’s Workforce Development Committee is to engage the business community and inspire meaningful academic partnerships. Throughout the years we’ve hosted events that bring together employers and academic institutions to better understand how they can partner to build the Tampa Bay talent pipeline.

A critical component of workforce development is the opportunity for students to hear from business community leaders during their academic studies. This forum allows them to connect with leaders in their industries of interest and build their professional network.

The Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa is starting an effort to bring more business leaders into the college classrooms.  Have you been wanting to give a guest lecture about the lessons you have learned in your career?  If yes, we want to hear from you!  Professors are eager to meet people who want to share their expertise with students at UT.  To register your interest and background, please fill out the Google Form using this link: https://forms.gle/8RQQoxFURwy2Cegj9.  Professors are filling out a similar form that will be used to find a match.

For more information or for questions, please contact Jody Tompson, Professor, Sykes College of Business at [email protected] or 813-257-3284.
