Over 225 local professionals attended the 11th Annual Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay Annual Meeting, presented by Saint Leo University and Leadership Tampa Alumni. The event recognized young professionals in the Tampa Bay community and announced the organization’s 2023 Leadership Team.

Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay also presented the Deanne Dewey Roberts Emerging Leader Award to Wyatt Krapf, Senior Director at Berkadia, for his service and dedication to the Tampa Bay community and the young professional organization. Following two years as Co-Chair and then Chair of the Catalyst Committee within Emerging Leaders, Wyatt served as the inaugural Co-Chair and then Chair of the Tampa Bay Chamber’s Collegiate Leadership Program. Wyatt is an active board member of the nonprofit Society of Real Estate Professionals (SOREP). He also serves on the board of the nonprofit Tampa Foundation which works with local artists to spread inspirational public art in the Tampa community.

The award’s namesake Deanne Dewey Roberts was the co-founder of Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay and founder of Tampa ad agency ChappellRoberts, which is the Founding Sponsor of the Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay Annual Meeting.
