TAMPA, Fla., - Last Tuesday, the City of Tampa held the 2023 Municipal Elections for City Council. Districts 1, 2, 3, & 6 are headed to a runoff election, which will be held on April 25th.
 
On March 28th, the Tampa Bay Chamber, in partnership with Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay, Leadership Tampa Alumni, Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce, Tampa Bay LGBT Chamber, South Tampa Chamber, Tampa Downtown Partnership, Westshore Alliance, and Ybor City Chamber of Commerce, North Tampa Bay Chamber, Temple Terrace Uptown Chamber of Commerce will host a debate, free and open to the public. This debate offers candidates a unique opportunity to hear from and engage directly with our members, the broader business community, and Tampa voters.
 
Important dates to remember:
 
  • Deadline to register: March 27 (Only registered voters living in the City of Tampa are eligible to vote in this election.)
  • Early Voting: April 17 - April 23, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Election Day: April 25, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
