Tampa, Fla. – Join us on Tuesday night, March 28th for the Tampa City Council Runoff Debate to be held at Hillsborough Community College – Dale Mabry Campus, Student Services Building, 6pm – 8pm. All candidates vying for Tampa City Council seats in Districts 1,2, 3 and 6 will be participating. The event in the main auditorium of HCC’s Dale Mabry Campus is free and open to the public. Free event parking will also be available in Parking Lot 2, which is closest to the Student Services Building (DSTU). Registration is still open.
The runoff debate is hosted by the Tampa Bay Chamber in partnership with Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay, Leadership Tampa Alumni, Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce, Tampa Bay LGBT Chamber, South Tampa Chamber, Tampa Downtown Partnership, Westshore Alliance, and Ybor City Chamber of Commerce, North Tampa Bay Chamber, Temple Terrace Uptown Chamber of Commerce. Our Tampa Bay Chamber member, WTSP 10 Tampa Bay will livestream the debate making it accessible to viewers on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android Phone, Tablet and Apple devices, as well as 10 Tampa Bay’s website. Moderating the debate will be Chamber President and CEO, Dr. Bob Rohrlack, CCE.
All members of the media are invited to attend and will have access to candidates following the debate. Four sets of candidates all on one stage. The address is 4001 W. Tampa Bay Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33607. Student Services Building. For easy access to campus, enter from Tampa Bay Boulevard entrance on HCC Avenue and follow the Event Parking signs to Lot 2. Doors open at 6pm.
