Tampa, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Chamber is proud to announce the members of Leadership Tampa Class of 2024. Among the most diverse classes in LT’s 53-year history, this group of 51 professionals was selected from LT applicants across the region, representing a broad range of industries and business sectors. The Class Chair is Terrie Daniel, President/CEO of Cardinal Consulting Group and the Vice Chair is Kerry O’Reilly, Marketing Director of the Tampa Bay Times.

“We have an outstanding group of leaders in LT24 and I am excited to serve as Chair.  I was impressed by the various qualities and characteristics of inclusive leadership these candidates possess. Not only that, I was also pleased to see the level of diversity of industry, generations, race and ethnicity, life experiences, and much more,” explained Daniel, who graduated from LT 2020. “This leadership journey we are embarking upon will be transformational and enrich each of us with tools to be more engaged leaders in our community and in the workplace.”

Established in 1970, Leadership Tampa is the third oldest leadership program in the nation and exclusive to the Tampa Bay Chamber. To date, more than 2,500 community and business leaders have graduated from the program.

“The Leadership Tampa experience is one of the best ways a professional can grow as a leader,” said O’Reilly, who graduated from LT 2015. “The opportunity to learn from our area’s top leaders, as well as from their fellow classmates, is unparalleled. I’m confident the 2024 class will benefit just as I did. I look forward to being a part of their journey of discovery.”

Members of Leadership Tampa are business community leaders within their companies or organizations, demonstrating a commitment to community engagement, advocating for the Tampa Bay region, and collaborating on strategies to address community concerns. The annual selection process is rigorous and competitive. Each LT program year brings in top-level business, civic and government leaders for panel discussions, question & answer sessions, as well as unique hands-on experiences. Topics covered include healthcare, education, military, tourism, economic development, government, and other important community issues.

Congratulations to the Leadership Tampa Class of 2024!
