Now thru March 19, 2024 Tampa Bay Chamber's Chair of the Minority Business Development Accelerator Alumni is giving away hundreds of dollars in services, in exchange for food. Ashley Butler's creativity was featured on Fox 13 Tampa Bay, showcased by Main News Anchor Mark Wilson in the What's Right with Tampa Bay franchise of the television station. Butler came up with the idea of giving $200+ brake jobs at her Ice Cold Air auto repair shop in exchange for 24 non-perishable food items as a way to give back to the community.
The daughter of a teen mom, Butler recalled her family's struggles when she was growing up. "You know, I'll never meet those people who donated to Metropolitan Ministries in the 90s -that helped my family - but this is a way for me to give to people in need right now," said Butler.
