The first time Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar braved a sold-out crowd of Tampa Bay @Sunset it was June. The wine was flowing. The networking was epic. And the appetizers were almost too gorgeous to eat. On February 29, Fleming's hosted its second one in less than 1 year!

"This experience was more than what we could have asked for!" exclaimed Nicole Villar, Regional Sales representative for Fleming's Events & Catering. "The evening was a delightful blend of professional connections, exquisite cuisine and fine wine." Fifty-eight Chamber Members attended the 5:30pm - 7:30pm networking.  "We had the opportunity to showcase our Indoor/Outdoor space - the  'Tampa Room + Patio' - and presented our new Passed Hor D ’Oeuvres: Blackened Chicken Bites, Bourbon and Apricot Glazed Meatballs, Spicy Tuna Wontons and our Sweet & Spicy Filet Bites."

Why the 'return performance' after only 8 months? Villar responded with "incredibly easy."

"The process to book our Tampa Bay @Sunset event with the Chamber was incredibly easy!" she said. "We were able to provide the dates that worked best with our Restaurant, and Caroline said “Let’s Do It!”, explained Villar, referring to the Chamber's Events Manager Caroline McCabe. " I couldn’t be more impressed with the seamless process from start to finish. Caroline and her team handled the marketing and the guest count, while I created the magic behind the Private Room doors. This is our second successful Sunset event with the Chamber, and we are already in the works for a third."

These @Sunset events are designed to bring guests to the Chamber's diverse member companies in the region. From restaurants to ships and historic buildings, the host sites get the opportunity to showcase their organization and/or services. Host sites provide the location, Hor D' Oeuvres and a drink per guest, while the Chamber staff manages the reservations based on the number of guests the host-site can accommodate. In instances where the host-site is not a restaurant or eatery, many collaborate with clients in the restaurant or food industry, bringing added value to their customers by introducing them to Chamber guests in attendance. Many Tampa Bay @Sunset host sites use the same phrase to describe the experience - "a win, win."

Back at Fleming's on Leap Day 2024, the sold-out crowd was impressed with everything from the ambiance to the food & wine. Asked what's next for the team at Fleming's in Tampa, Villar said "Mark your calendars, Tampa! We are excited to announce our new Fleming’s location opening up this August! We can’t wait to welcome you to our new and improved location, and yes, it is only 30 steps away from our current Fleming’s.  While we will miss our old building, we are ecstatic to show you our modern twist on the classic dining experience. Step inside, and you’ll find yourself immersed in a chic and contemporary atmosphere, where sleek lines and stylish décor create the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience. But it's not just about the ambiance… Fleming’s is also raising the bar when it comes to our culinary excellence. Get ready to experience the best of both worlds at Tampa’s new hotspot."
