A first in Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay history, and to close out Women’s History Month…Congratulations to Addie Mentry, AMLU Consulting and Mattie Velasco in being the first female co-lead team for Emerge’s Catalyst program. The mission of the Catalyst Group is to cultivate awareness for Emerging Leaders members and encourage them to have a voice on issues and policies affecting Tampa Bay. In addition to serving on the Emerge’s Leadership team, Addie Mentry serves on the 2024 Women’s of Influence committee and 2024 Policy Council and Mattie Velasco co-chairs the 2024 Transportation Council and serves on the 2024 Policy Advisory Committee.

“My favorite memory has to be my first Emerge event. I attended an Engage Series, and the energy was so electric in the room. It hooked me from the start, and I knew joining Emerge was going to be rewarding and impactful!” - Addie Mentry, 2024 Co-Chair, Catalyst

“Last year's Mentor Protege Kick Off was life changing. Watching everyone meet their mentors on the roof top as the sun went down over the Tampa skyline is something I will never forget.” - Mattie Velasco, 2024 Co-Chair, Catalyst.
