"After over a decade in the health care industry, Lennise Germany was ready for a challenge. So, in 2014, Germany applied, interviewed, and was selected for a promotion at work. But as fate would have it, the job offer Germany looked forward to was rescinded the same day... after conversations with her husband, Omar, she took the leap and returned to a passion developed as a teen - serving people through food."
That's how Hillsborough County Government began its special feature on Chamber Member Lennise Germany. When the county set out to raise community awareness of its workshops, trainings and resources to help local entrepreneurs, they looked no further Germany and Livy O's catering company. This minority, woman-owned business is a shining success story and proud Chamber Member from our Minority Business Accelerator 2022 Cohort. Germany's leadership was instrumental mentoring and inspiring entrepreneurs in the 2023 Minority Empowerment Program as Chair.
Congratulations to Lennise and the entire Livy O's team on this wonderful feature! Read the full story: Hillsborough Entrepreneur Caters to the Hearts of Others. To learn more about the economic inclusion programs that Livy O’s has engaged with at the Tampa Bay Chamber, click here.
