L2 Total Business Solutions in the Silver Spotlight -  On May 16, Dave and Diane-elaine Crowthers will be part of a Tampa Bay tradition going back 25 years. They'll host 300+ service members, but they won't be doing it alone! The founders of L2 Total Business Solutions are among the local businesses not waiting to be huge to be Heroes! They are Silver Level Sponsors of the 2024 Military Appreciation Event and a big reason why service members can attend the annual event at no cost to them.

"We believe that making a positive impact doesn't require a massive company size; it's about the intention and commitment to contribute to something greater than ourselves," said Dave Crowthers, CEO of L2. "Our motivation stems from the recognition of the sacrifices made by our service members and the desire to express genuine gratitude."

"By sharing our journey, we hope to inspire others to seek out similar noble experiences, whether for their company, themselves, or their employees, knowing that even small gestures can make a significant difference in the lives of those who serve," added Diane-elaine Crowthers, CFO of L2.

The salute during National Military Appreciation Month in May was started by the Tampa Bay Chamber in 1999. USAA has served as the presenting sponsor since 2017. Local businesses of every size, with and without military ties are part of the magic. Local active duty service members from all 6 branches are eligible to attend the night of food and fun. The business community gathers to interact with these every day heroes, as well as each other, and the grand-finale is always the raffle for service members only. All the prizes and vacation packages they win have been donated by Chamber Member companies. L2's founders attended the Signature Event for the first time last year and witnessed the spontaneous celebrations of military families during the raffle.

"Participating in events like MA allows us to go beyond just saying 'Thank you' and truly connect with the military community. It's a privilege to engage with active military and veterans in a meaningful way.  Knowing that our efforts make a difference, however small, fills us with a profound sense of gratitude and purpose," explained Diane-elaine. Dave adding "Supporting the local military community is special to us because of the immense sacrifices they make for our freedom and safety. Their dedication, resilience, and selflessness inspire us every day. Being able to show appreciation and offer assistance is the least we can do for our local military community."

Dave & Diane-elaine Crowthers visit MAFB in 2023.

"Engaging and conversing with service members and their spouses from MacDill Air Force Base was both humbling and uplifting," said Diane-elaine. "Seeing some of the service members we had previously engaged with on the base added an extra layer of warmth and connection," added Dave, "It reinforced the importance of our involvement and deepened our appreciation for the military community's spirit."

Don’t miss your opportunity to salute active-duty service members in Tampa Bay. The May 16 event at Armature Works is open to the general public. To learn more about available sponsorships for the Chamber’s Signature Event, Military Appreciation, contact Staci Fraser.
