Tampa Cafe Serves up Inclusivity and Opportunity - that's the great headline viewers of the CBS station in Tampa Bay saw when they tuned in on July 2nd. WTSP 10 Tampa Bay reporter Hannah Dineen spotlighted Chamber Member Coffee Uniting People, better known as CUP. Coinciding with that start of Disability Pride Month in July, the story highlighted CUP's two coffee-house operation, employing adults with disabilities. Interviewed for the story, CUP General Manager Stephanie Williams explained job opportunities are scarce for adults with disabilities, especially in their early to mid twenties. "After 22, that age just drops off and there's no place for them to go," explained William. "Presently, I have 38 employees working for me, not including shift leads and managers. Then I have about 55 people waiting on the waitlist for jobs."
