Se Habla Español! Solmart Media has launched the region's first Spanish language interview segments focused on the Chamber. The weekly segments with the Tampa Bay Chamber will spotlight Hispanic owned Chamber Member companies as well as Hispanic professionals actively engaged in our Chamber programming. The August 2024 launch showcased our Minority Business Accelerator, which is currently recruiting for the MBA 2026 Cohort. The accelerator is designed for Hispanic and Black owned businesses in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk or Manatee counties with a strategic business plan and ready to scale.

In this interview, Radio Host Juan Pablo Salas talks to Dr. Irma Campos, a member of the MBA Leadership Advisory Council , lead facilitator of the MBA Alumni round table discussions and founder of Latinas Leading LLC - a leadership development consultancy. As part of the advisory council, Dr. Campos has worked with Hispanic and Black owned businesses in a variety of sectors. Access to subject experts and access to capital are common needs across the board. The Chamber Member's PhD in Counseling Psychology gives her a unique perspective than most traditional business coaches, which is one of the reasons accelerator cohorts value her sessions so much. Dr. Campos is the proud daughter of immigrants from Panama and a PhD graduate from the University of Florida.
