The Tampa Bay Chamber's incoming class of Collegiate Leadership took their first step on the program journey. November 1st, after the postponement forced by Hurricane Milton, the Class of 2025 gathered for their first Program Day. The in-person gathering centered around Entrepreneurship, Tech, Insurance, and Banking. The class began the day with a leadership training by Clint Babcock of Sandler Training, where they learned their communication styles. Next, they visited Bank of America for a panel on Banking and Financial Services, featuring panelists from Bank of America, Merril, and CLA. For the tech-portion of the day, they toured Embarc Collective, listened to from speakers from Powernet Co., ConnectWise, and Embarc Collective, and had an interactive overview of LinkedIn by Emerge member Gina DiLello. They ended the day at USAA with a panel on insurance.
The Day Chairs that helped plan the day were Keith O’Malley, USAA, and Patrick Arends, First Citizens Bank. The Program Chair for CLTB ’25 is Yvette Segura, Yvette Segura Consulting, and the Vice Chair is Antoine Richards, I-DIEM.
