Congratulations to the sixteen entrepreneurs just completing their yearlong program in the Tampa Bay Chamber's Minority Empowerment Program! Sponsors make it possible to host the quarterly, specialized programming and cover nearly all the costs of each participant’s top-level membership during the program year. MEP was launched in 2021 and designed to bring Black and Hispanic owned/led businesses and nonprofits into the community conversation through Chamber membership. That engagement results in a more inclusive environment and approach to economic development in the region. Along with the benefits of an Enterprise Chamber Membership, MEP participants also receive quarterly specialized programming, as well as invite only special sessions and networking events with the Chamber’s Minority Business Accelerator participants.
Special thanks to their amazing sponsor companies! This year, our MEP sponsors were: AMGEN, AT&T, Bank of America, Bush Ross Attorneys at Law, Fifth Third Bank, Florida Natural Gas, Moffitt Cancer Center, Phoenix Portfolio Partners, Tampa Bay Food Trucks, Tampa Bay Chamber's Military Bay, USA and Whiting Turner.
