Tampa, FL - The Tampa Bay Chamber is proud to announce that Chamber Member Kathy Times has been selected to produce the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) 2024 - 2025 Leadership Academy. The former broadcaster turned entrepreneur is part of the 2024 Minority Empowerment Program. Harnessing her experiences as an Emmy award winning journalist, Times has created the curriculum for the program launched by NABJ and the ABC News Group.
The MEP Entrepreneur is the founder of Kathy Times Wow, a professional development program and coach helping clients present their authentic brand story. Her work NABJ and its Leadership Academy will help leaders pivot and impress their target audiences with tools and best-practices utilized by this Emmy award winning professional. Times' curriculum includes networking mastery, personal branding, and leadership development. Created for NABJ, Times' curriculum also attracted the sponsorship of ABC News and its parent company, Disney.

Times shared her wonderful news with more than 700 guests during the Tampa Bay Chamber’s 139th Annual Meeting on December 6.
