"Celebrating Leadership, Wellness & Impact at Building Wellness" - that was the inspiration that brought to Chamber Member companies together to create the first of its kind gathering to recognize local residents making a positive impact in the region. The February 12, 2025 event was presented by Premier Choice Group, in the Chamber's 2025 Cohort of the Minority Business Accelerator, and DuCon, LLC, an alum of the Chamber's Minority Empowerment Program.  "Leadership is more than a title. It’s a commitment to growth, service, and impact," said Shanae Hill, CEO of Premier.

The collaboration of both companies, apart from their work within the Chamber's programing of economic inclusion, is inspiring! "We had the incredible honor of bringing together visionaries, innovators, and change-makers," explained Hill. The honorees selected came from various business sectors, chosen for "shaping industries and communities through excellence and purpose."

“This idea was born from the amazing connections formed in our economic inclusion programming. To see it come to fruition is wonderful. This is what our mission at the Chamber is about – bringing people together, empowering them to succeed, not just for themselves, but for the advancement of our community,” said Avril Stinson, Vice President of Economic Inclusion & Leadership Development. “Shanae Hill of Premier is in our MBA  ’25 Cohort. Ernie DuBose of DuCon was in our MEP ’21 Cohort. Our program provided the launching pad for them to network and connect, but they took it from there and made things happen! It’s thrilling to watch MBA & MEP plant the seeds of success and service to others.”
