Today, the Glazer family, owners of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, announced funding to 99 local businesses throughout the Tampa Bay and West Central Florida regions impacted by the most recent hurricane season as part of the Glazer Family Small Business Fund. Following Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the Glazer Family donated $2 million to support local relief efforts, including the $1 million Glazer Family Small Business Fund. To date, 194 local businesses have received funding.

Round two of applications for the hurricane relief fund were submitted through eight chambers of commerce selected by the Glazers. They include our Tampa Bay Chamber, North Tampa Chamber, South Tampa Chamber, St. Petersburg Chamber, Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber, Manatee Chamber, Greater Plant City Chamber and Amplify Clearwater. Each chamber was asked to narrow the field of applicants to 15 and the Glazer Family Small Business Fund selected recipients from there.
Earlier this year, the Glazer Family Small Business Fund selected 95 small businesses across the region during the first round, each receiving grants of $5,000.
“As our entire region continues to recover from the devastating effects of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, my family remains committed to the many small business owners in our community that are still in need of assistance,” said Buccaneers Owner and Glazer Family Foundation Chairman Darcie Glazer Kassewitz. “The stories of business owners who are working tirelessly to rebuild and bring their businesses back have been inspirational. Local businesses are crucial to the success of our entire community, and it is our priority to continue supporting them during this challenging time.”
