TAMPA, Fla. — (Jan. 27, 2026) — Leadership Tampa Alumni (LTA) proudly announced Yvette Segura, LT 2016 alum and 2025 Past Collegiate Chair, as the recipient of the Parke Wright III Award during the Leadership Tampa Alumni Annual Meeting: The Homecoming Edition, presented by Baker Barrios and The CI Group.
Segura said of her Chamber experience, “I really believe that part of why I was able to be successful at USAA is because of my Leadership Tampa (LT) classmates, LT experience, the Chamber and all the Chamber has to offer.”
The Leadership Tampa program was created in 1970 under the direction of Tampa Bay Chamber Chair Parke Wright III, whose vision helped shape generations of leaders committed to the region’s growth and success. The Parke Wright III Award was established to honor his legacy and to recognize an LTA member who demonstrates exceptional leadership and is making a meaningful and lasting difference in the Tampa Bay community.
With nearly 40 years of leadership experience, Segura has demonstrated legacy of leadership within the Tampa Bay area. She shares her experience and knowledge by serving on several boards as well as mentoring young professionals and minority businesses. She is a past chair of the Tampa Bay Chamber and the incoming chair for Collegiate Leadership Tampa Bay.
Segura commented on how welcoming the Tampa Bay community was in welcoming and supporting her when she moved to the area. Segura said, “People in this community who have been so endearing, and so warm and so welcoming - that’s what makes this community so special; and why I want to continue to give back; and why I want to continue to stay connected - so that I can do my part to pay it forward wherever I can.”
