Sunshine Car Wash Partners with Moffitt Cancer Center to “Shine for a Cure”
Throughout the month of October, Sunshine Car Wash is partnering with Moffitt Cancer Center in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Through the Shine for a Cure campaign, 50% of each participating $28 car wash purchase will go directly to Moffitt Cancer Center. Chamber members can join the effort by purchasing washes for themselves or gifting them to employees, customers, friends and family while supporting cancer research and patient care in Tampa Bay.
Explore Tampa Theatre’s Restoration at a FREE Community Open House
Tampa Theatre is inviting the community to get a first look at the restoration of its historic Duncan Auditorium during a free public open house on Sunday, October 11, from 1–5 p.m. Guests can explore the building, join mini-tours led by Theatre staff and discover nearly 100 years of history through a new digital guide. At 3 p.m., retired CEO John Bell will join George Levesque onstage for a conversation about the restoration and audience Q&A.
