Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay Cabinet Application

One of the best ways to engage in Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay and foster both personal and professional growth is to lead the program or a group. The Emerging Leaders Cabinet Team is responsible for the recruitment, retention and engagement of its membership base, the planning of events, the organization of monthly group meetings, and the guidance and development of the organization’s young professional members.

Application Criteria & Requirements

The Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay (ELTB) Cabinet member’s employer must be a Tampa Bay Chamber member.

The Cabinet member is required to:

Attend the following:
- ELTB events
- Cabinet Meetings
- Cabinet Team Building Activity (Oct. 16, 2026)
- Cabinet Retreat (Oct. 23, 2026)
- ELTB 2026 Annual Meeting (Dec. 1, 2026)
- ELTB Info Session TBD
Participate in the Mentor/Protégé Program as a Protégé
Follow all ELTB policies and procedures
Serve as a Collegiate Leadership Tampa Bay (CLTB) mentor during the leadership term and fulfill the mentor expectations established by Chamber staff.

2027 program planning will occur October – December of 2026.

As a part of the application process, applicants will be contacted for a personal interview.
