Christian Ulvert is the founder and president of EDGE Communications, LLC, a Florida-based communications and political consulting firm. An expert in political messaging and public policy, Ulvert has served on and managed several successful campaigns across the state of Florida, from municipal and legislative races, to issue advocacy and statewide campaigns. Prior to his launch as a political and media consultant, Christian served the Florida House of Representatives Democratic Caucus as a senior communications director and policy advisor to House Democratic Leader Dan Gelber during his two-year leadership term. His knowledge of strategic communications, public opinion and message development allowed elected officials to effectively deliver their message to statewide media outlets and drive public opinion. His strong verbal communications skills have allowed Ulvert to serve as bilingual spokesman of every campaign he has joined. In 2017, Christian was named by the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) as one of the country’s top political consultants under 40, recognizing him as a “young achiever and visionary”. This year, in addition to a number of key races where he serves as the lead strategist, Christian served as Mayor Philip Levine’s Senior Advisor and Chief Strategist for his Gubernatorial campaign. Born in Miami with family roots in Nicaragua, Christian is a proud alumni of Florida State University with an undergraduate degree in political science and a graduate degree in Public Administration and Policy. Today, Christian lives with his husband, Carlos, in Miami Shores.
