For over 18 years, Colt has been a leader in the marine logistics field holding positions at sea as a deck officer on merchant vessels, on the docks as a supervisor for a stevedoring company, in the office managing trade lanes for a vessel owner, and in the port managing vessel/container/barge/stevedoring operations for one of the world’s largest fertilizer producers.  Colt is heavily involved in the Tampa maritime community serving as President of the Tampa Propeller Club and as a member of the Tampa Bay Maritime Scholarship Foundation.  Colt holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and honorably served in the US Naval Reserve for eight years.  Colt currently resides in Lithia, Florida with his beautiful wife Ashlei and three children Isaac (15), Layla (13), and Bailey (11).  Colt is passionate about attending & volunteering at Fishhawk Fellowship Church, coaching his children’s sports teams, and spending time on the water in any capacity.
