Founder & Chief Thinker – The Marketing Posse
Danielle is the Founder and Chief Thinker of The Marketing Posse which she launched in 2015. Danielle grew her business to over $1M and 7 employees in just a few short years. The Posse acts as an “outsourced marketing department” providing strategic business planning and positioning, marketing solutions and talent development to help solve challenges for businesses of all sizes across a variety of industries. Danielle and her team function like internal talent with experience in areas including international expansion, digital and social media, event activation, marketing planning, talent development, strategic planning, and agency management. The Marketing Posse is certified in the state of Florida and nationally as a woman owned business. The Marketing Posse was a semi-finalist for Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award in 2017 and a finalist in 2018.
She and her family moved to Tampa for her role at Bloomin’ Brands as GVP and CMO for Carrabba’s Italian Grill from 2012 to 2014. When she left BBI in 2014, Danielle launched The Marketing Posse. Danielle re-joined Bloomin’ Brands in 2019 as GVP and CMO for Outback Steakhouse and today is SVP and CMO for Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill and Flemings Steakhouse.
Prior to coming to Tampa, Danielle was VP and CMO for Sonic Corporation where she was responsible for the brand positioning/strategy, product innovation and menu development, partnerships, and communications for more than 3,500 Sonic locations. Prior to Sonic, she spent more than 10 years with PepsiCo where she rose through the ranks from Manager to Vice President in various marketing roles including consumer marketing, package innovation and brand marketing.
Danielle came to Pepsi in 1999 from Tracey Locke, Pepsi’s promotion agency of record, where she worked on marketing initiatives for a variety of Pepsi customers in a variety of channels. She also has experience with consumer advertising and retail construction from The Franklin Mint.
Danielle received accolades at PepsiCo for her talent management skills. Her passion for mentorship led her to join the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay where she Chairs their Development Committee. She is also on the Advisory Boards for Make-A-Wish Foundation, Southern Florida and Secretary for the Safety Harbor Chamber Board of Directors.
Danielle has a liberal arts degree from Hofstra University and lives in Clearwater with her husband Jeff and her 3 children, Veronica, Dominick and Tori.
