David Jones is the Founder and CEO of Diversity of Thought, Inc. (DOTI), which is a social enterprise whose mission is to elevate humanity through business. As an accredited coach and facilitator in Psychological Safety, as well as holding certifications in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Emotional Intelligence, David has a unique technique to how he helps clients advance their DEI strategies. “We focus on the science and not the shame of DEI” - David Jones

David has over 25 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit, wireless, sales, and consumer electronics industry. Prior to starting DOTI., David was instrumental in Best Buy’s Learning & Development and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion strategies. As the Territory Training Director, he was responsible for the learning and development of the Southeastern Region, which includes Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Virginia and Puerto Rico. During his time there he and his team were responsible for the onboarding and continuing education of all employees, agents, and leaders (from store level to VPs). David also helped create the first successful Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee in the company. He co-wrote Best Buy’s sales trainings, leadership workshops, and diversity, equity, and inclusion training, which lead to (what is being taught in colleges today) as the greatest turnaround in retail history.

David has clients today from the aerospace, environmental, hospitality, healthcare, and retail industries. He helps his clients reach their DEI goals through creative and engaging workshops. He believes in unleashing the power of human potential and looks to do so in many ways. David continues to work with the Association of Leadership Programs as a national conference speaker. He works with several LEAD programs around the country.

David currently chairs the Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce board of directors. He also sits on the American Advertising Federation board where he is the DEI Chair and the Government Relations Co-chair for the state of Florida.

David’s most important job is being a father to his beautiful daughter Winter.
