Liliana Ayende is currently the Weather Anchor for Univision Tampa Bay since 2021 after moving from New York and being an Emmy nominated Weather Anchor for Univision 41 in the Big Apple for several years. Univision has been Liliana’s employer since 2003, where she has been working in both Radio and Television.

She was born in New Jersey, raised in Puerto Rico with Cuban and Puerto Rican heritage. She graduated from Sacred Heart University in Puerto Rico with a Bachelor of Communications in Television Production and Journalism. She later pursued a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology.

While in Puerto Rico Liliana started her Radio career at WAPA Radio, a news radio station and at Cosmos 94.7FM, 104.9 FM in Philadelphia, and 105.9 FM in New York City. Latina Magazine featured her as one of the TOP 4 Female Radio personalities in the country and was awarded the ACE Award for Radio personality of the Year.

Liliana’s voice over work has granted her the opportunity to showcase her talent for brands like Bank of America, Western Union, News 13 Florida, AT&T, Chrysler, Chase, American Cancer Society, Expedia among many others. Liliana is also the Spanish Voice for the yearly televised New York Emmys.

Liliana is also a classically trained dancer and performed as a backup singer and dancer for the likes of Basilio, Belkis Concepcion, Ednita Nazario, among others while travelling to perform in several countries. In the last few years, she dedicates herself to fitness and ballroom dancing.
