
Mark Koulianos
Assistant Vice President of University-Community Partnerships – University of South Florida
As Assistant Vice President of University-Community Partnerships, Mark Koulianos is part of the team shaping the University of South Florida’s future cohesive and intentional strategy to engage community partners and facilitate business with USF. He transitions from his position as Executive Director of USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, a unit that has grown exponentially during his tenure. Because of his talent for workforce and leadership development, Mark continues to oversee USF’s Lifelong Learning Operations, which offers training and certificate programs in numerous fields and currently serves as a board member of the National Council for Continuing Education and Training.
Mark has over 20 years of executive leadership experience in various industries, including global information and measurement, market research, publishing, banking, as well as higher education. He is a proud USF alumnus, graduating with a B.A. in International Studies. Mark also holds a B.S. in Accounting and a graduate certificate in Strategic Intelligence. Prior to working at the university Mark worked with the Nielsen Company for 14 years, performing various finance, project management, and operations-management roles. During the later half of his tenure with Nielsen Mark traveled worldwide as Nielsen’s Director of Global Operations, turning around underperforming business units, and integrating the operations of acquired companies into the company model.
