Rebecca Arends-Siviglia

Assistant General Counsel – Moffitt Cancer Center

Rebecca Arends-Siviglia attended Florida State University for her undergraduate degree where she double majored in Political Science and English Literature. After graduating early from Florida State, she attended the Florida State University College of Law where she earned her law degree in 2015. Rebecca returned to Tampa shortly after and has experience practicing in general civil litigation, products liability, workers’ compensation defense, estate planning and contracts. She has previously represented several large and highly regulated companies, providing both litigation and transactional services. In 2021, Rebecca joined Moffitt Cancer Center’s Office of General Counsel, specializing in non‐disclosure agreements, data sharing agreements, material transfer agreements, lab relocations, consortium agreements, other research agreements and general contracts.

Rebecca is a licensed attorney in the State of Florida and United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is active in several organizations in Tampa Bay, including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the American Cancer Society, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Young Lawyers’ Division and Redefining Refuge just to name a few.

Most notably, Rebecca has been involved with the Tampa Bay Chamber since 2015. In 2015, Rebecca joined Emerging Leaders and was the recipient of the 2020 Deanne Dewey Emerging Leader of the Year Award. Rebecca has also previously served as the policy liaison for the Workforce Development Committee, Co-Chair of the Chamber’s Policy Advisory Committee and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Chamber’s Policy Council.
