Robyn Ostrem

Chief Executive Officer – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay

Robyn Ostrem is the Chief Executive Officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, bringing more than 25 years of nonprofit leadership experience and a lifelong commitment to youth development. She previously served as Senior Vice President of Operations at the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA, where she led a $31 million portfolio across 13 family centers, championing strategic growth and community engagement.

Her new role at Big Brothers Big Sisters marks a meaningful return to the mission, having previously served as Executive Director of the McHenry County, Illinois affiliate from 2000 to 2013. In 2012, Robyn also began mentoring her Little Sister, Kylie—a relationship that continues today in an unofficial capacity, reflecting her deep, personal investment in this important work.

She is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University, a member of the Leadership Tampa Bay Class of 2021, and currently serves as a Community Advisory Board Member for the Junior League of Tampa. Known for her collaborative leadership style and passion for creating equitable opportunities, Robyn leads with purpose, vision, and heart.

Outside of her professional work, Robyn is a proud wife, mom to two daughters—Katie (Go Gators!) and Via (Go Noles!) and dog mom to Scout, a wild and crazy labrador. She brings her full self to everything she does, believing deeply in the power of connection to transform lives and communities.
