Manager of Psychology & Neuropsychology Services – Tampa General Hospital
Seema Weinstein, Ph.D., is the Manager of Psychology & Neuropsychology Services at Tampa General Hospital. Dr. Weinstein received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a clinical internship at the James Haley Veterans Administration Hospital in Tampa. Through her 30 year tenure at Tampa General, she has assumed progressive levels of responsibility within the organization, including serving as the inaugural Chief of the Psychology Section for the Tampa General Hospital Medical Staff. She has overseen the expansion of Psychology and Neuropsychology Services throughout the continuum of care. Her primary clinical interests are in rehabilitation psychology and clinical neuropsychology, focusing on individuals with complex medical conditions including acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and Parkinson’s disease. Through her work with individuals facing life-altering events, she has developed an interest in understanding how we can be resilient during challenging times. As a result, she has developed and implemented resilience training and emotional wellness programs for TGH as well as the community.
