Tiesha Watson
Adult Education Supervisor, Metropolitan Ministries
Tiesha Watson is an early learning leader committed to elevating the field of childcare and empowering educators to be treated with dignity and honored as true professionals. She began her career as a high school science teacher, where her fascination with adolescent neurological and physical development sparked a deeper curiosity about the earliest stages of learning. That curiosity—and a desire to support children during their most formative years—led her to transition into early childhood education.
Driven by this passion, Tiesha earned her National Director Credential and has dedicated her career to developing skilled, purpose‑driven childcare professionals. As a former CareCorps Program Manager, she played a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive early childhood education training, specializing in child development, classroom management, and trauma-informed care for children from birth through age twelve.
Tiesha’s commitment to this work is deeply personal. As a mother of five—spanning adulthood to toddlerhood—she understands the profound impact that nurturing, well‑prepared caregivers have on a child’s life. Her mission is clear: to uplift early learning educators, affirm their expertise, and ensure they are respected as the essential professionals they are while caring for our most precious humans—children.
