Kaitlynne Silvers

Senior Director, Events

Kaitlynne is the Senior Director, Events at the Tampa Bay Chamber, where she leads the strategic vision, planning, and execution of the organization’s robust event portfolio. In this role, she oversees signature programsguides event standards, and ensures alignment with strategic goals—delivering high-impact programs that strengthen member engagement and support the continued growth of the Tampa Bay region. 

With more than a decade of progressive leadership in event strategy and nonprofit engagement, Kaitlynne brings a strategic, process-driven, and relationship-oriented approach to her work. She has produced national conferences, leadership programs and retreats, and large-scale events for associations, organizations, and nonprofit organizations across the country. Kaitlynne strongly believes in the power of events to build community, drive meaningful change, and create spaces of inclusion and belonging. She is known for her ability to lead in dynamic, high-growth environments, where she prioritizes agility, continuous improvement, and thoughtful alignment between mission and execution.  

Prior to joining the Chamber, Kaitlynne held roles with organizations including Institute for Nonprofit Practice, United Philanthropy Forum, Council on Foundations, and Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation, as well as community-based nonprofits such as the YMCA and Big Brothers Big Sisters. 

Kaitlynne holds a B.S. in Recreational Therapy and Psychology from Indiana University and has completed certifications in Event Accessibility, Special Events Management, Volunteer Management, and Advanced Hotel & Event Contract Negotiation. She is currently pursuing her Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) designation. 

Having called Tampa home for the past decade, Kaitlynne is deeply connected to the community and passionate about the place she calls home. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, cooking, reading, and volunteering—and will happily talk about her niece, dog, and cats for as long as you let her.
