
Meaghan Gelinski, CMP
Senior Director, Events
Meaghan Gelinski, CMP, is the Senior Director of Events, overseeing the production of more than 40 of the Chamber’s 150+ annual events, including its four largest signature events and the annual 3-day Benchmarking Visit. She also manages the prestigious Small Business of the Year Program, leading its execution and fostering collaboration among volunteers to align with the Chamber’s objectives. Additionally, she establishes organization-wide event standards to support the Chamber’s strategic goals and Vision 2026.
A Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Meaghan is recognized as a subject matter expert and public speaker, sharing emerging trends and best practices with peers in the events industry. Her prior experience spans more than a decade of event production in diverse sectors, including IT, food service, the Department of Defense, medical education, and digital marketing.
Meaghan serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Meeting Professionals International Tampa Bay Chapter, holding the role of Director, Strategic Alliances. In this capacity, she leads the chapter's strategic partnerships and alliances, driving sponsorship growth, spearheading fundraising initiatives, and fostering donor relationships. These efforts support the chapter's mission to advance the meeting and event profession while delivering impactful programs and resources to its members.
A native of Massachusetts, moving to the Tampa Bay area in 2014, Meaghan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a concentration in marketing from Babson College and a Certificate of Meeting & Event Management from Northeastern University. She has also earned four important industry certificates from the Event Leadership Institute: Event DEI Strategist (2023), Advanced Event Design & Strategy (2022), Hybrid & Virtual Event Director (2021), and Pandemic Meeting & Event Design (2020).
