
Samuel Zang
Marketing Manager
Samuel Zang is the Marketing Manager at the Tampa Bay Chamber, where he is responsible for content across all social media platforms and produces the Chamber’s flagship digital newsletter, eView, going out weekly to 9,800+ Chamber Members. Sam has been an integral part of the Communications & Marketing Department since 2022, growing the number of followers and increasing engagement across the Chamber’s LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and X accounts.
As a member-driven organization, we serve 1,000+ member companies and 9,800+ employees accessing Chamber benefits. Sharing the stories of our Member Companies and individual members participating in committees and programming is an important part of the Communications & Marketing Department’s work. Year round, the Marketing Manager elevates those member stories and the impact of our Chamber programming.
Sam is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and relocated to the Tampa Bay region from Little Rock, Arkansas. He continues to serve in the Arkansas Air National Guard’s 189th Airlift Wing as a Public Affairs Specialist, splitting his time between Tampa and Little Rock for military drills and training. Sam has been part of some unique public affairs assignments. Among his favorites, the April 8, 2024 flight of a joint force public affairs team documenting the total solar eclipse from a Lockheed C-130 Hercules aircraft.
His prior roles in marketing and government relations include his tenure in the Arkansas Auditor of State’s Office where he served as the Outreach Coordinator; and his tenure at The Hershey Company in Account Management & Sales.
Sam is a 2013 graduate of the University of Akron, where he graduated with a dual B.A. in Public Relations and Organizational Communication, and is an Honor Graduate in Mass Communication Studies at the Defense Information School (DINFOS).
