Taisha Edwin-Williams

Senior Director, Leadership Programs

As the Senior Director of Leadership Programs, Taisha Edwin-Williams leads the Tampa Bay Chamber’s signature leadership development programs across the professional spectrum - Collegiate Leadership, Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay, Leadership Tampa and the Leadership Tampa Alumni (LTA) association. In her prior Chamber role as Director, Taisha was primarily engaged in Leadership Tampa, Emerging Leaders and Collegiate Leadership. She brings more than a decade of experience as a leader in the non-profit sector.

Professionally skilled in strategic planning, project management, and program development, Taisha holds a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida, a CIL3 Certificate in Leadership from the Non-Profit Leadership Center, as well as a Certificate in Volunteer Management. Taisha is a licensed Florida Notary Public and holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Communications from Berkeley College in New Jersey.

Originally from New Jersey and of Trinidad descent, Taisha traded in her seasonal winter storms for year-long sunshine and palm trees by uprooting her family to the Tampa Bay area. Even before arriving at the Chamber’s Leadership Programs, Taisha has been involved in community engagement projects and service organizations empowering young professionals to be confident leaders that make a positive impact in the Tampa Bay community. She is currently involved with community organizations that support and serve underrepresented minority communities, families, and children. Outside of work, Taisha loves writing, reading, and traveling. Any chance she gets, you’ll find her booking a trip for her next travel adventure around the world!
