Virginia Bohorquez
Finance & Administration Intern
As the Finance & Administration Intern, Virginia supports the Chamber’s financial operations through accounts payable, accounts receivable, reporting, and reconciliation processes. She utilizes systems such as QuickBooks and Accrisoft Freedom to help maintain accurate financial records and support the Chamber’s day-to-day operations.
Originally from Venezuela, Virginia moved to Tampa to pursue her education at the University of South Florida, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a concentration in Digital Marketing, graduating summa cum laude. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Financial Analytics with a concentration in FinTech at the USF Muma College of Business, along with a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics.
Alongside her studies, Virginia serves as a Graduate Assistant at the Bellini Center for Talent Development, where she supports career development initiatives, student programming, and data-driven planning efforts. Through her academic and professional experiences, she has developed an interest in leveraging analytics and technology to support better business decisions.
Outside of work and academics, Virginia enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach, practicing Pilates, reading, and dancing Latin rhythms such as salsa and bachata. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and enjoys connecting with diverse communities.
