LTA Career Showcase

Our goal is to expose Cristo Rey Tampa High School (CRT) students from underserved communities to a wide array of industries and careers.  LTA members will share their career journey, showcase their profession and provide insight into their industries in a small group setting so students can ask questions and learn about career opportunities after college. We encourage all LTA members to attend and promote their industries as it creates awareness. Some key areas of interest are Veterinary Medicine, Healthcare, Hospitality, Sports & Recreation, Real Estate, Finance, Education, Engineering, Food & Beverage, Technology, and Advertising & Media.

Volunteer Opportunity:

LTA members will be assigned to an industry area and students will stop by each area with a certain amount of time per rotation.  LTA members can bring a ‘tradeshow or tabletop booth’ and other materials or giveaways to promote their company and industry.  LTA and students will have some suggested questions to start discussions. We suggest LTA members dress in your company business attire and company or LTA name tag.

• 1:15 PM  Registration 
• 1:30 PM  Welcome and Overview by Cristo Rey Tampa High School
• 1:30 PM  Career Showcase – students will go to each table and the amount of time at each table will be determined by the number of LTA tables
• 4:00 PM   Adjourn
