About the Speaker
Malinda Gagnon is the CEO of Uprise Partners and has more than 20 years of experience in business strategy and technology. She joined Google in the early 2000's in the fast-growth ad technology organization focusing on SMBs. She was recruited by the world's largest media holding company, GroupM/WPP to develop strategies for Fortune 500 companies like Procter and Gamble and General Electric. She rose in the ranks to Sr. Partner and founded and led two organizations - a consultancy, and their Product and Technology group.
Malinda specializes in business strategy, business resiliency planning, product strategy, and technology operations. She has advised hundreds of companies from Fortune 500, to SMBs and startups - as an advisor, strategic partner, and investor. She’s enjoys supporting entrepreneurship and education and is a board member at Maine Venture Fund and The Mitchell Institute and is a mentor with Techstars, MassChallenge, and The Roux Institute at Northeastern University. She’s an avid skier and scuba diver, and a certified yoga teacher.
