The way we work is changing and so are the challenges facing businesses, workers, and communities. Work Redefined brings together business leaders, educators, workforce professionals, entrepreneurs, and community voices for a collaborative think-tank focused on the forces reshaping work and opportunity.
We’ll explore three critical questions:
- Affordability: How rising costs are changing the ways people enter, stay, and advance in the workforce
- Non-conventional trade skills: Pathways beyond the traditional four-year degree that can prepare people for meaningful, sustainable careers
- AI: How artificial intelligence is changing the skills employers need, the jobs people do, and the ways we train for them
This won’t be a conversation about simply predicting the future of work. It’s an opportunity to examine what is happening now, challenge conventional assumptions, and identify practical ideas that can move our region forward.
The session will conclude with report-outs from each discussion, highlighting the key insights, questions, and ideas that emerged—and creating a shared snapshot of what work redefined can look like in the Tampa Bay region.
Come ready to contribute, challenge assumptions, and rethink what’s possible.
