Events
Join the Tampa Bay Chamber and Brownstein’s Government Relations leaders for a Public Policy Roundtable discussion on the results of the November elections and what they mean for congressional leadership, federal policy priorities, and the broader political environment affecting Florida. The conversation will examine the new political landscape in Washington and Tallahassee, including changes in congressional leadership, committee dynamics, and the priorities that could shape the next legislative session and Congress. Panelists will discuss what the election results may mean for companies operating in Florida and engaging with policymakers at both the state and federal levels.
The discussion will also explore Florida’s political outlook following the election, including changes in legislative and executive branch leadership and what those shifts may mean for policy direction and regulatory consistency. Panelists will examine congressional oversight, committee leadership, legislative bottlenecks, and the potential for continued regulatory changes in Florida and at the federal level, with particular attention to healthcare, insurance, and environmental policy.
The conversation will connect the outcomes of the November elections to the evolving relationship between Washington and Tallahassee, including how federal policy priorities may intersect with state legislative agendas, gubernatorial priorities, and regulatory decisions. Attendees will gain perspective on the post-election environment and the implications for Florida’s business climate, investment decisions, and growth outlook.
